Started a draft - not published - and will get something up beginning of next week for people to have a go at. Want to get the Scenarios section to Max 86 first.

Items missing in the manual:

Chart 10.8 Terrain. One column shows how terrain affects Assaults.

Note many of the terrain names include (ol) which means “overlay”.

Fort (overlay) is included.

Fort level 1, Fort level 2 and Fort level 3 are all missing. They need to be included.

-

Now refer to chart 10.3. Some terrain types are “overlay” and the word “overlay” is missing in every instance.

If a unit's supply level is "Limited"  or "None"  the manual is not clear on what effect this has on a unit

1 - who is under attack

2 - who is attacking.

The draft version of the manual is ready for Player review. How can I post it to the forum? It is a 1.3Mb zipped pdf file. Thanks.

A mod should be able to increase the size allowed for uploads. Barring that, a free file sharing site like Dropbox would allow you to post a link for others to grab it.

I don't think it's just the filesize, as you can't upload pdfs or zips.

Edit: Hope you don't mind Max 86 but here's the link to the draft document I've dropped on my Google site - here

If a file is smaller than the limit, rename the extension to an allowed extension, then inform the public to rename the file after downloading.

Not at all. I wasn't sure what the best way to post it would be. Thanks alot.

Now for the rest of the community, I am relying on you guys to sort out what needs to be corrected, added, deleted etc. We will be adding the tables a little later so I would also like to include some player feedback on what we have so far for that draft release. . I am pretty sure I have done a poor job of explaining Attack, Defense and AT values for units listed in Section 4. And I think the title stinks too. I am sure there are other things as well.

So basically it is up to us to flesh this thing out the way we want. Your feedback is appreciated.

At the end of this there will be both A4 and US page size versions available.

Page 75 "Modifying Factors Disruption level of Unit".

I think the left column of disruption levels was left off in error. I presume it should be:

Disruption Levels
1
2
3
4

It should probably read:

0 = x 1.00
1 = x 0.75
2 = x 0.50
3 = x 0.25
4 = x 0.10

Or I might have got it back to front!

Don't forget this is a draft copy. If we can get some feedback and comments in the next week or so we can release Rev0 by next week.[:)]

sorry the assault defense phase, also, has a end defense designation phase???? both of these phases happen just before the allied movement phase. putting an explanation for these in the manual would be great.

I will expand on the assault defense explanation. It is one of the many things that require further clarification. If you have any input from your playing experience, write something up either here on the forum or a separate word file and I will include it in the manual.
