For Mac players

Post by henri51 »

I play PC games on two Macs (an I7 Imac and a Mac Pro) with Bootcamp, and have no problems at all with every
thing maxed, except for an occasional problem with the keyboard. Yesterday I spent two hours looking for the IMac extended thin keyboard equivalent of "insert" (to show colored terrain). Note to PC programmers: Puhleese NEVER use the "insert" key for ANY useful keystroke, it will drive Mac users crazy. [:-] I saw many suggestions on the web for Mac equivalents for the "insert" key, but none of them worked.

Finally after what felt like 2 hours [:@] I found the keystroke by some accident:"function 5" . As a matter of fact the fn 1-9 keystrokes all do something useful (some keystrokes like "delete" also don't work and are mapped on these keys).

So go go go Mac users and don't forget to use the function key!

Sorry for the confusion. There is a post about the hotkeys list not making into the new manual. Press K in the game to see all the hotkeys while you are playing.
Conflict of Heroes "Most games are like checkers or chess and some have dice and cards involved too. This game plays like checkers but you think like chess and the dice and cards can change everything in real time."
