Contested Flags

The manual says that contested flags don't give victory points.

But each contested flag is associated to a certain amount of points (ex. : 5 points). What are those 5 points ?

It means if your side captures it the points go to your side.

Contested means the same as neutral. No one gets the points.
Conflict of Heroes "Most games are like checkers or chess and some have dice and cards involved too. This game plays like checkers but you think like chess and the dice and cards can change everything in real time."
