Host payment bug

I am on version 1.8.05 for all games. In a couple games where I am host I've noticed that the country I'm playing has gotten large over payments in gold. They seem to come in as bogus contributions from other players.

I have not seen the same problem with the countries I have in games that I am not hosting. Has anyone else seen this?

Hi Doug,
I think switching to 1.08.05 is a good idea. However, can you provide some more details on the host receiving money bug? How large are these overpayments? And are they overpayments or just gifts from heaven? i.e. does a player have to loan you the money to make this happen, or not. Are you talking about peace conditions?

Hi DB,

The bonus appears in the Econ phase. I'm pretty sure it shows as a gift from another power. I have only seen it happen with GB and France and I'm hosting both of those games. It is a substantial bonus (80 or more gold). I thought it was a host thing because of the games I've seen it in, however Del just reported seeing it as GB in the game where I have France. It may be a France and GB issue rather than a host related issue.

do you know if it is necessary for someone to loan you a small amount of money to cause this?

I'm assuming no one is lossing $80 money.

Do you have a save from an eco phase you can email or post on Mantis?
