Air transport

Post by rominet »

Hi everyone

Is there any rule concerning air transport?
I try to pick up AA ground unit from an airbase which has about 50pts damages on its runway. I am using Topsy and Tabby but nothing happens.
What's wrong?

Maybe the load factor of the guns is to much for the planes to carry?

What is the range to the destination base?

I'm sure the damage to the base has to hurt ops of all kinds.
Todd

I never thought that doing an AAR would be so time consuming and difficult.

No trouble with load factor of guns and the range, i send the AA unit by air transport from the same base.
Now, i want to pick up the unit and the airfield has average damage (less than what is required to perform a CAP from) but it doesn't work. Strange[&:]

CAP can and will fly out of damaged bases that air trans and offensive missions won't.
