4-6!! The picture doesn't do it justice, it was HUGE! We didn't have anything to wiegh it with, but it was 35 inches long! Took us forever to get it in. It was a blast however.

That pitiful thing wasn't 35" inches long jeff. Sorry. Now that Long Lance that CB posted...that's a catfish. If it doesn't weigh more than a 1960 VW beetle it ain't a catfish. It's a crappie. Pronounced cra (SHORT A) pee for those drunk midwesterners who think an A vowel ever sounds like like Aw Shucks. It doesn't. Ever. Period. End of story. Go home Yankee redleg because you haven't a clue about southern English. [;)]

I saw that site, but believe that the 'man eater' seen getting carved up is a juvenile whale shark, not a freshwater catfish. The picture I posted was off of National Geographic. Certainly no guarantee, but more likely than not legit.
