What are the criteria for an attacker to withdraw?

Post by Fred98 »

Some of my troops were firing during the Direct Fire phase. As a result one unit had to withdraw.

This was a surprise to me. Maybe his disruption was too high. Maybe he failed a quality check. I don’t know exactly.

What are the criteria for a Phasing Player’s unit to withdraw:

1 as a result of the Direct Fire phase

2 as a result of the Assault Phase.

Sometimes we receive a message that a unit is to withdraw but it does not do so.

It would be handy to know the reasons it doesnt do so. I am sure there good resons!

This was a surprise to me.

Well, I can see why. If this is legal, it sure is a rare event. Direct fire seems hard enough just to scratch the paint jobs on other units. Unless they are doing something silly like sitting there in travel posture or something... not very likely!

I think your other questions should be answered by now in some of the other threads.
