AV's - a quicky

Post by wobbly »

Sorry about this but I again can't seem to find a definitive answer, what i have found is in the FAQ which states AV's and I have included CS's should unload their floatplanes on a size 0 base in order to use them.

If this is the case then I have been using them wrong as I figured they were able to just fly their planes straight from the ship - much like cruisers.

They can fly from the ship. The AV must be docked to do so, but the CS can fly while underway.

I did not know that.
So then planes in AV do not flight normally!
I have to put them on an airfield or dock the ship in a port for them to fly. Is that right?
Thanks!

Both, you transfer the planes to the base/beach and then dock or anchor (for size 3+) the AV there as well.

It's supposed to only work with floatplanes and floatfighters though, so you won't get a normal fighter squad operating like that :)
