A poor chance to hit at 300m with a 150mm round. Hmm

Not bad targeting but no step kills?

Ah well, nice to see the explosion is tailored to the shell size.

Sound is size dependent as well.

I am suspicious that FOW doesn't always give you the kill messages. Look for bodies before and after. I wonder if you need LOS to the kills in order to get the killed message?

Do you have verbose messaging on?

Yes, verbose is on.

I got too involved in watching the sIG33 shoot I forgot about my other units and didn't move for about 3 turns so I abandoned the battle. Of course all the other shots it took missed wildly and the troops targeted got chewed up by a 20mm and small arms fire as well.

It could very well be only within LOS means you see kills.
Although thinking about it, would you be able to tell between someone being suppresed and bleeding to death at 300m? Their both lying down, while the difference between being on guard: kneeling or standing is quite a difference from prone.

I just wanted to see the splash of bodies. [:)]
I know, PCO doesn't work that way.

ROFL!

Nobody can say you don't get immersion when you play PCO!

I'm not after the 'splash of bodies' so much as I am watching that Victory Level bar raise to the top.

Next time try issuing a Stop order, then check the target quality. You might be seeing the target quality based on a moving firer. I'm not sure it will change, we went through a couple of cycles of this during developenment and I cant recall the final status

Thanks

I also don't always get confirmation of kills, but that seems realistic. I doubt Panzer crews would count every body on the ground at 400 meters away. "Yes, Hans, there are truly 10 of them...they're all dead!"

By the way, I love the sIG 33. If the PaK 36's the army's door knocker, the sIG 33 is the army's 2-in-1 interior and exterior decoration tool/landscaping device.
