How to set specific pilot skills by Editor?

Post by modrow »

Gentlemen,

I just started to use the editor in order to try to undertand the game a bit better and optimize approaches.

Question: Is there a way to define the skill distribution of a given air group via the editor? I know how to set experience, but do not seem to be able to find out how to set the individual skills. I even looked into the manual for the editor, but no success.

Can someone provide a pointer ? Thanks in advance.

As I understand it, you can only set the experience.  Would've been nice to set Defense at 99 and follow a pilot through the conflict.

Pilots tends to have main skill in the area of experience set (so, for example, with expeience 60, they will have 60 Air Skill). You could experiment, and check what skill will be main, with different airgroup beginning orders (sweep, naval attack, recon etc.). You can set orders in editor.

You can actually set command skills in leaders tab, but I do not think it influences pilot skills.
