About half way through On Contested Seas, thought I'd give it a whirl. The Fench, Italian and Russian stuff looks interesting. Does anyone have any histories of these navies in WWII?

Yup. I have several good books on the Italian navy in WWII, one of which also covers the French in good detail. There's not much to write about with Soviet navy in WWII. Largely a sub effort and holding defensively in the major ports. There were however a decent # of amphibious ops, of which Glantz covers during the Stalingrad period.

Good number of landings of various sizes in the Black Sea, and of course in the Far East at the very end of the war.

He's referring to the recent Return of El-Talks-alot (El Cid Again) to the Scenario Design sub-forum. In just two weeks he's (Sid) managed to piss off practically the entire AE dev team and generated a world of hurt for himself after about a dozen name droppings of Joe Wilkerson.

Now he's currently focusing on criticising the game's OOB and planning "improvements"

No I do not care about him talking on Joe Wilkerson. joe Wilkerson does not talk to that person and defends himself. I care about the lying and the pretends that this man lies to people about to make his little things important. Many people have informations and I use these informations and they are honest about where it comes from and I give all credit to these people. This man is a lying broek who lies about what he knows and lies about who he is to convince people he knows something he does not. He lies to players so he can become important and they do not know the difference. Somebody should just call him a lier and keep calling him a lier until he goes away. That is my mad.
