Looks like it won't be 6/15

Fans of the old Panzer General series rejoice for the release of Panzer Corps. Following in the footsteps of the popular SSI masterpiece and sharing with the General series the same level of engagement and strategic depth, Panzer Corps will keep an unmistakable "PG feeling" whilst improving and refining the gameplay and balance. Panzer Corps will feature 26 scenarios on 21 unique maps, covering most major battles of the European Theatre of World War II and including a few hypothetical 'what if' scenarios based on your actions. Now expanded with a full-war mega-campaign and the Afrika Corps and Allied Corps releases!

Are the testers using netbooks to run the beta currently?

I hope my Acer can with it's meager specs:

Intel Atom N450
1GB Ram

This is my on the go machine would be great to play it at work and on trips. I hope the resolution scales to the game OK...right now PGF isn't exactly right, but it works.

Sorry it took so long to install PC on my netbook.

Here is the system I played on today:
Acerone
Intel Atom(WEAK)1.67 Gz
1 GB ram
Windows 7 Premium
250 MB video ram-VERY WEAK
Resolution-1024 x 600 (32bit)

Panzer Corps ran amazingly well on this system. There was no lag, the map scrolled smoothly and the animations worked just fine. The AI did take a tad longer to do it's thing, but not by much.

I can't wait. I clicked on the buy link on the 15th and was disappointed I couldn't buy it. But, keep polishing, I like people who put out polished products. And, I can use a break from War in the East also!

I can't wait for this game even though I know it's going to rock when it comes out. [:D]
I just wish the guys at Slitherine offered a pre-order and gave everyone that pre-ordered a prelease copy of the game.

I know that is hard to believe, but Windows 7 Premium runs okay, but only because I have a minimum of services and no other programs running. Yesterday I played 1939-1945 from Poland to my conquest of England(several hours) and all was smooth.
