Pvt. Frank Pike: I can't come home now mum, we're learning how to be soldiers.
Mavis Pike: Well you'll just have to learn how to be soldiers some other time.

Wondered who the moistened bint was myself. And why she's carrying the Halberd. And why, if it's a firearm, she has the poor arms discipline to be 'sweeping' the right column's heads with the muzzle of her weapon too.

I wonder too much, methinks...[:D]
Warspite1

Moreover, why has she got her right trouser leg rolled down - from the top? And where's her make-up? The woman needs to sort herself out [X(]
You git ([;)])-she's got her trouser leg down, bunching up about her high boot top. There appears to be dried blood or rust streaked in rivulets down her trousers, however. What a mess. I can't believe that unkempt uniform conforms to British cleanliness standards. Ten demerits!

that's a girl? i thought it was just a young english lad...[X(]

No KEM, it is definitely a girl - her name is Private Bob Parkhurst - a.k.a Kate (which is short for Bob).

Bob:

Let me put it another way, Bob. You are a girl. And you're a girl with as much talent for disguise as a giraffe in dark glasses trying to get into a polar bears-only golf club

Therefore, to even contemplate given up the Falklands is a momumental act of utter betrayal.

Neither T nor I suggested that.
Warspite1

Three things:

1) I can't spell giving

2) I never suggested either of you did. I was pointing out that T's earlier comment was out of place. Boredom and/or Obama bashing has nothing to do with the strength of feeling over the Falklands.

3) The act of betrayal would come courtesy of our spineless buffons in Westminster, "persuaded" by a US administration keen to get South America on side.

Edit: I can't spell spineless either [8|]

3) You're assuming the current (and I can't stress that enough) administration has taken this stance as part of a logically thought out process to change the perception of the US in South America. I think that's giving our government, including the state department, way too much credit. Somewhere along the way geographical proximity was substituted for self-determination.
