I suspect he backed off from the south becuase his flank would be hanging in the air. He'll probably try for another envelopment of your center.

Yeah, you better pull back that center bulge. After what you know his pattern to be, you'd be foolish to leave it hanging out there like that. Although at this point in the game, I don't think it matters much. Just play for pride and knowledge going forward.

You've got a Finn unit below the Finnish no-move line and it's not such a big deal for me you can leave it there if you'd like I'm just saying...........

Good game so far. I think this winter will be a sort-of repeat of the last winter. Not much destruction of Axis units in the forcast just some inconsequencial pushing-back of the front lines I suppose. I'm slowly growing some more Rifle Corps units and they are helping out greatly. Unless and until you attack me again I'm supposing I can turn this game around maybe. I've had a lot of losses in ground troops so it'll be iffy for the for-see-able future but I see your ground losses mounting and the air losses have been punishing for you so it's looking sort-of good for my side so far. There's a few places in the front line that I'm still worried about but for the most part it's looking up.

It's 17 DEC 1942 and just about to turn into 1943 and the bigger TOE's. I'm buying what rifle divisions I can each month so I can have enough to build some more Rifle Corps and turn this into a half-way respectable Army. One that can possibly stop the breakthroughs by the Axis. And after the breakthroughs stop then maybe I can develop an offensive army and start the drive on Berlin sometime in mid-43 or soon thereafter maybe. I'm guessing the Russians have lost enough tanks to be deficient in that area but maybe I can put together some Horsie Corps types and get some mobility that way.

OR

I could just disband my bi-plane types to better utilize the manpower. Anybody ever disband all the Russian UV-2's? Any manpower boost from doing that? Maybe I'll be the first to do that. I want to wait until I'm sure the Russian Air Force is on the acendency first though.

I don't think you gain manpower from disbanding air units, the aircraft return to the National Reserve. Disbanding airbases will.

Tank Corps use light and medium tanks, then add SP guns ( SUs ); you may have thousands of KVs sitting around with no job, which can be deployed in heavy tank regiments ( they use one armored car and five support squads ).
