quick question

From the legendary team at 2 by 3 Games comes a new grand strategy masterpiece: Gary Grigsby’s War Between the States. Taking gamers back to the American Civil War, this innovative grand strategy game allows players to experience the trials and tribulations of the role of commander-in-chief for either side. Historically accurate, detailed and finely balanced for realistic gameplay, War Between the States is also easy to play and does not take months to finish.

Lot of similarities in terms of interface and basic mechanics.

GGWBTS has simpler mechanics in regard to economy, production, diplomacy which is just as it should be in what it is representing. It does however have fairly extensive leader and division / corp / army command and formation mechanics, nothing too complex but something that is different from GGWAWAWD again in keeping with what it is representing.

If you like WAW I think you will like and easily get into WBTS. Not the most detailed of the ACW games out there but fun, realistic enough and the one I play most of when I get the chance.
