Zip Installer

Post by lancer »

G'day,

Can anyone tell me about the zip packager built into the ATG editor?

Will it automatically (once I press the button in 'Settings') package up the '.at2' file, various added graphics in different directories and a start-up script in the /mod directory?

Additionally do I need to tidy up my ATG directories before using it to prevent all the non-relevant stuff being packaged up as well?

Cheers,
Lancer

As far as i know, it packages everything actually used in the scenario, with the exception of certain built in directories. Which directories i do not know... but don´t for instance put graphic files in the graphics/at2 directory. Better just put them in the graphics/ScenarioName directory.

I've found it easier to simply recreate the game folder structures inside a temp folder. I then place all the files associated with my mod into those folders, zip it up and then rename it to modname.atzip. Works like a charm for my NATO counters mod. For my mod that includes the atgscenarios, graphics/subfolders as appropriate and mod folders.
