Gardening day tithe....

Have to put up a temporary fence around the garden because of deer. Anyone got an unused pack of wolves I could borrow to patrol the backyard?

Ah sooo... That's why they call you guys little green men, because you're really into gardening. [:'(]

Deer fences don't...

We'll see. If it fails, it will be time to buy a crossbow.

Ugh.  Good morning.

Woken up by loud, repeated banging coming from the upstairs, resonating into my bedroom.  Ran upstairs to see what was the matter. Son was in the kitchen stomping on the floor at 6:40am.  He was frustrated with a massive LEGO creation of his missing a tiny piece and stomped the floor in frustration.  At 6:40am.

Yup...nothing like sleeping in on a Saturday, eh parent THREADsters?  [8|]

My God, is he still in one piece, you didn't rip his arms or head off I hope.

Hi all,
ORIGINAL: USS America

Just made a trip back to Blockbuster video (with the top down in the Boxster [;)]) and brought home No Country for Old Men.

Wife and I also liked the "No Country for Old Men" - but that one is also specifically "hard"...

Finally went to the local Alabama ABC store. Was kinda impressed. They had some nice single malts up on the shelf. Not a great selection but some serious kick back and sip it stuff. They didn't have Pussers, the guy said it was overproof so the State won't touch it. But they had Mount Gay and Pyrate, and a bunch of other Carrib blends.

Got a litre of El Jimador for $17.00 and a litre of Mount Gay for $20.00. Woof, woof, woof !! Maybe mosey over to P'Cola and get some Pussers Blue Label, but in the meantime, Bama Packy is looking pretty darn good, at least in my neck of the woods. Only bitch is I gotta go all the way to Publix to get Coco Lopez. That's the only place that has Wheatstone crackers too. Damn, it is so hard being an arrogant Cali snot out here.[;)]

John, can you get Rhum Barbancourt in AL or FL? It's my favorite, but NC ABC's don't carry it. I buy it at Duty Free in Providenciales for around $17/ 750ml. Price may be higher now, as the distillery had some serious damage in the Haiti earthquake last year. [:(]

If you can find it, pick up the 15 year old Reserve du Domaine. You won't be disappointed.

Nice lethal rum drink recipe.
Painkiller. This one is from Harris’ Place on Little Jost Van Dyke, BVI
3 shots pineapple juice
1 shot OJ
1 shot Coco Lopez
fill remaining volume with Pussers Blue Label (ok, technically 3 shots, but after one of these you forget how to count)
sprinkle of nutmeg on the top

Wow looks good I gotta write this down [:)] And Hello everybody [8D]

An anonymous owner of a Porsche 911 donated his troublesome car to a local gun club rather than pay more than $20,000 to have it fixed. The wealthy motorist was so fed-up with the car's constant engine problems he was happy to see 140 members of the Massachusetts club Comm2A fire 10,000 bullets into it. Photographer and gun enthusiast John Beauchemin says: "By the end of the shoot, the Porsche was so perforated that it was folding in half under its own weight. It was hauled off to the junkyard on a flatbed."

Yeah, that's just wrong, right there... For one thing, it says "Carrera" on the back...
