Does Such a Game as This Exist?

A WWII simultaneous movement online game based on a similar gaming model to SPaW? In other words a WWII RTS game instead of turn based game?

Also, is there a WWII SPaW-type game that is persistently online that covers the whole of WWII and players can "take over" parts of battles or something like that?

I've looked through most Matrix and Atomic games and can't see anything like this (yet).

yes and no. There is close combat series from microsoft that is a RTS style game. Although some of the campaigns can get very boring.

As for a strategic level WW2 game. Well nothing like that exists anymore. Especially not an online version. Now if you are looking at just an operational level game then look in to the "Operational Art of Warfare" You can play lots of operations like kursk or barbaroso(sp).

I have been working on a multiplayer online game for grand stategy. My only draw back is the bored I am unsure how to make it. Don't get exicted it is just a play a turn a day game.
