Here is an overview of the front Turn 15. Soviet units moved in the north and center, but not in the south.

Turn 17! The ordeal is over! Next turn will be mud, so time to rest and recuperate. Here is the Western Front after Soviet moves. Moscow is safeguarded, and Tula and Kaluga saved. We really needed those industries!

The OOB is not so encouragaing however. As pointed out above, the German army outnumbers the Soviet, even without counting in the minor fascist allies.

As can bee seen from the production screen, we have an enormous deficiency in armaments. This is the effect of our enormous losses of factories.

Turn 19, STAVKA ORDERS
COMRADES!
The Fascists are severely discomfited by the rasputitsa! This is the time to consolidate our lines and build up our positions. As always, proper revolutionary spirit will carry the day!
OVERALL:
Our situation is not good, mainly because the loss of industry. Losses of troops are not so bad, only 3 million, our problem is that replacements are curtailed severely by lack of armaments. I looked at our settings and TOEs to try to get the most out of our armaments, but the TOE of most support units is already 50%. We will just have to grit our teeth and fight the fascist invaders with our bare hands if need be!
I moved a lot of reinforcements forward. I given priority to the North and South for reinforcenents, as the Center is in relatively good shape.
For all fronts, please take command of any STAVKA units that are behind your front line. Move up those far behind the front. Unload what you can, but don't be overly concerned about leaving units on trains, as we do not need to evacuate a lot of stuff right now.
Our primary goal now is to establish a firm front before snow, and to prepare for the winter counteroffensive. The time for checkerboard is over! Two deep front preferrably backed up by a loose third line of checkerboard is the goal!
NORTH:
Establish a front line roughly on the line Onega - Vyshni Volochek. Do not give up any more ground! The Bulge north of VV is not necessarily a bad thing, but do not overcommit to it.
Also, sort out your command structure. A lot of units are intermingled up there. See to it that armies are grouped together and fronts are not intermingled.
CENTER:
We will mainly hold our positions here, we are in pretty good shape. I may try some advanced stuff and experiment with some withdrawals here and there to entice the Germans to creep forward, to mess up their building program for winter.
SOUTH:
We have had really heavy losses in the south. We have to build up a front there. I have sent most of the reinforcements in that direction. It seems the Germans are withdrawing somewhat in that area. Try to follow up carefully, while consolidating the front.
You can pull your troops around Stary Oskol south a bit, Kalinin front can take over 3 or 4 hexes of front there.

It's really good to see that the team play model is still working. Following this with interest. (Note - I will not be playing on the other side at any point and I don't communicate anything to them. Just academic interest as a 'sponsor'!)
