I'd also be happy to play as Japan and give some feedback on the scripts...

Thanks - this will be great with the AI!!! Always has irked me that the original AD ed shipped without a 42 campaign.

Please keep us informed as to when the AI versions is finished.

Again, thanks!

Another minor thing to note:

AMC Aikoku Maru and AMC Hikoku Maru have been converted into APs... but they still have their FP groups aboard :)

CS Mizuho are assigned to TASK FORCE / 722-Singapore. Changing it to BASE fixes the problem.

According to Nihon Kaigun CS Mizuho was sunk by SS Drum on May 1 (DC prolonged sinking until May 2).

The game's database has it as May 2nd. Scenario designer's call I guess :) I would be happy either way.

Its still WIP its taking almost as long as the original AI because I dont have a lot of free time to committ to it.

It will probably not be ready until Late August because I have 2 weeks in the US on holiday and day job is manic until then

Would be easier if 17th Indian started about 30% strength and already pre formed
also I think RM Viper force would have already disbvanded

Got a bare bones jap AI up and running its a bit basic and does nothing other than defend as I have not layered on any further attacks yet and its really lacking in a few areas and is a little preduictable in others

Main issue so far is Truk but I am dealing with it - should probably start as lvl 7 port in this scenario and maybe a bit more supply to help AI

I noticed a lot of "9999" in the location file, especially Japanese units. Is there a reason why these units were not included in the scenario?

it depends. It can mean the unit in question was destroyed, or it could mean that that particular unit is not valid for the scenario due to again, various reasons. For example, many parent LCU divisions also have matching organic sub units, each with it's own unique ID. If you want to represent the Division as a whole, the sub units would have ID 9999 because otherwise you'd have duplicates.

Hi,

I did send you an PM Nik.

Is this the latest version of this mod?

I'am about to enter PBEM game so want to confirm that before the game starts.

Thank you for your efforts.

Andy is still working on the AI module. Other than that, there are some minor corrections i need to get around too, but the scenario remains playable in PBEM mode.
