Just release it! Monday is no good as I am at work...

Seriously Friday release is the best time.

Well suppose that a major flaw got into the goldversion somehow (not gonna say that will happen, just suppose) who will give support and feedback *during* the weekend? Guess Matrix/Slitherine staff deserve a weekend off too.
So Monday is the best day to release it.

Tuesday for tech releases is common and sensible.

Monday to do the last minute prep after a couple of days off; and then the rest of the week to fix the stuff that only super geeks (ie users) would find :)

I wonder if Matrix recently hired a pr manager. It's quite notable how mainstream media already review PC prior to release and even allocate good ratings.

Here is another 8,5/10 from a German mag.

There PR can't be that great when I visit this site twice a day and I have no idea what is about to be released and even what kind of game it is. I did not even know they were planning a 'big' release.

Every day this week the banner has been updated with a new feature - if you visit the site it would be hard to miss. If you only visit the forums you could have missed it.

With all due respect, the more saturation you have the more copies of a game you will sell. So you shouldn't rely solely on a game's banner on a single web page. Word has gotten around and I see Panzer Corps posted about on several game forums I frequent.

But rest assured that I will buy Panzer Corps at the earliest possible opportunity.

We are not relying on anything! We've got an extensive PR campaign underway. If there is anywhere you think we are missing let us know and we'll add them to our contacts list. Bear in mind 2D wargames struggle to get coverage on mainstream sites these days, but PzC has broken some records in that department already!
