Am I having memory lapse or are there units I set to defend that don't retain their status?

If they get bombarded they may lose their entrenchment level?

It seems to have occurred as I ended the turn. I'm looking at the END_OF file.

These were all units with nominal movement left. I'm thinking the command has to pass some check?

I think the only way you can leave Defend is by going higher up the entrechment ladder, by combat or by moving. I think combat is the only involuntary way to go to a different deployment.
