Need Help With Resolution

Tried everything that this forum has said and google. Using the proper dash, have the right shortcut, made a different shortcut, tried every resolution nothing works.

Here's my latest:
"C:\Matrix Games\War in the Pacific Admiral's Edition\War in the Pacific Admiral Edition.exe" -px1600 -py0900

I've tried everything and no changes, even put an "-f" in front, tried windowed mode, nothing. I can get every other switch ive tried like deepColor but no matter what, screen resolution never changes.

My monitor is a Westinghouse 42inch 4:3 with max 1920x1080 connected with HDMI

Almost forgot, i have v1.01.06i

It would have been nice to know that your default desktop resolution setting can not be lower than the resolution switch you put in the shortcut. No other game has required that so i never considered it... till now of course.
