Rail Bug?

OK this is probably me... but I moved a unit by rail last turn. Looks like a train. New turn.. still entrained (bit surprising but ok).. so I select and pick disembark. Nothing happens. I also try with "E". Nothing happened.

I reloaded from autosave to see if I was misremembering but am not.
What am I missing? or is this a bug? Bad bug if so. Unit is basically out of comission now. Or maybe it takes two turns to get off a train?

OK it's the next turn and I still can't get off the darn train Guys must be drunk. Unfortunately this means I have to start over unless I am missing something since this basically removes a unit from the game for me. But maybe I am being dense (always a high probability ).

Or maybe it's the rail guage locks the carriage doors.

You can only embark/disembark in cities with railroad connection.

If it's infantry, you should be able to disembark anywhere!

Rail embarking and disembarking is working fine for me. I'm guessing the issue is more specific. Could you post some more information, ideally a screenshot as well and tell us what scenario this is in and what unit you embarked?

If you are trying to disembark in a city and it does not work, the easiest would be to have a saved game illustrating the problem.

Ah being in cities was the key. Was treating like trucks
