One minor glitch at game start? Or WAD?

Downloaded the game and installed it without issue.
If I start to play, a black screen shows up. I see the mouse cursor, no music to be heard..

I klick the mouse somewere and the main screen/main menue comes up and the music starts.

That`s WAD? [&:]
And no intro by start of the game? [&:]

Hi Templer,

You should see the intro video by default. If you are not seeing that, chances are your system is missing something or has something configured differently from how Panzer Corps expects.

I assume the rest of the game works fine for you?

Could you please post a DxDiag for us and also the game's log file? It is located in %My Documents%\My Games\Panzer Corps\Log\log.txt.

So far, considering the number of sales, there are actually very few issues so hopefully I will have a restful evening.

Ok, based on your DxDiag, your video drivers are fairly recent (2010) but your sound drivers are from 2004 and could easily be causing the issue. As the game log shows no issues, could you update both drivers to the latest and see if that makes any difference?

It's the latest video driver and for my sound card (CD Media 3D Audio?)there is no update to find.

Well I can easy life without the intro - I seen it before anyway. [;)]
