I'm pondering the idea of using HQ build up for one Panzer corps in the AGS area with the purpose of getting Kharkov/Stalino if possible. Kharkov is the bigger priority. I just need to sort it all out.

Turn 6

Not much movement here but plenty of reorganization. Most of the effort was made to breach the Volkhov river area. A corp from the 16th army helped out. The effort south of Lake Ilmen is underway also. I will swing the 4th Panzers into the area starting next turn as I'm able. More infantry is moving into the area.

The AGC norther wing if you will for turn 6. Not much movement. Attachments really helped in taking Velikie Luki. The 3rd Panzers are low on fuel but you can see the rail getting closer.

AGCS turn 6.

2nd Panzers low on fuel as well. You can see the rail unit not too far back now. The 2nd armie now at Gomel. The 4th armie will shift toward Bryansk. The 46th Panzer corps of the 2nd Panzer Armie Linked up with the 14th Panzer Corps of the 1st Panzer Armie to form a a pocket at Chernigov. I wasn't certain if I would do this or not since I thought it might steal units away from my upcoming Kharkos operation for next turn. However the opportunity was there and no matter what I think it is the right course of action.

AGSN turn 6. A better view of the Pocket. The 3rd Panzer corps did HQ build up in the hex NE of Kirovograd. The 4 divisions of the 3rd Panzers are the Wiking SS Mot, 14th Panzer div, 16 Mot division and the newly arrived 60th Mot division. These divisions run diagonal on the east bank of the Dnpre river with some Hungarians and some 11th armies infantry near by. The purpose of this is to make a run for Kharkov on turn 7.

AGSS turn 6

The Rail line to the Crimea is cut and 1 corps of the 11th armie is on the move as well. I think some factories are located in Kerch and they cannot be railed now. I view the Crimea as somewhat important but I don't have to do much else immediately concerning the Crimea. I just want to get my foot in the door so to speak.

The Finns. why not.

I discovered that I made a mistake about not assigning construction units to the Army Groups and such. So I've most likely lost some rail repair because of this. I'm wondering how much this will hurt in the Future.

AGN section. The operation around Lake Ilmen and on the east bank of the Volkhov are looking good.

Further south. Same as the rest of AGC. The northern wing of AGS is fairing a little better. Supporting the move on Kharkov.

The Kharkov section of the Front. I got a Panzer division adjacent to Kharkov with all factories still there so now its really on in this area.

Finally the Crimea. I'm at the approaches to the Crimea and hopefully I'll clean up the empty pocket. The Pz division is with the 54th corps of the 11 Armie but not for long he will rejoin the 1st Panzer Army soon enough.

I now have all my armies and corps within command limits :).

38 division and 2 brigades destroyed this turn. 89k trucks total through the campaign. total Soviet 1.92 mill men, 27k guns 14.1k tanks, 9.5k planes. My own tank losses are beginning to become a concern with more than 600 lost and attrition will add another 100 this turn. My own truck losses are 19.7k with 100k in repair. I still need to move support units around and some of my air groups are suffering morale wise.

More progress around Leningrad. Tikhvin is taken and the rail line cut. The interior land connection is cut as well. I'm wondering how bad this alone will hurt supply.

A better picture of Stalino and the Crimea area.

Total Factories either destroyed or cut off is 99 armaments, 53 HI, 31 Vehicle Plus all the tank factories in Leningrad and Kharkov.

AGN area. Progress continues but casualties are increasing. The attacking infantry divisions are beginning to suffer. Surely supply for unit in Leningrad has to be difficult.

AGC area turn 9. Resistance, terrain and poor supply for Panzer corps are making progress slow. I pulled back as many Mobile units as I could this turn for build up next turn. Alot of Factories in this area have been moved. However North Moscow, Moscow and Tula still remain. So I have to hurry. The next 2 turns will be critical. I either get the factories before they are moved or I won't get them.
