My bad.. A6M2 Zero production. It was an small factory so around 10 planes per month.

...but I double the A6M2 production in one of the main cities since you only have +100 in the pools.

Yeah, need Oscars but need tracker and the turn first.

I did "babysteps" since don't want to screw up immediately.

Also noticed that Tojo's are not far away and really need to start producing them too as soon as they come online. That is an nice fighter until up until early 1944.

The SRA and DEI don't start with high stockpiles of resources but send out TF's (Tankers / AK's) so they arrive. I still have +500 ships on ports at Japan waiting their orders.

The turn is in Hartwig's inbox and he is doing the mass clicking currently. He is also moving houses so hectic times for him. No doubt!

However no hurry on that one since this definately is an marathon.

I have generated an general idea what I want to achieve and how to do it!

Now, have been reading a bit more about japanese economical side of things. It is still definately an "big mystery" for me! [:)]

Just wondering whether some of the more experienced player would take a look on the initial settings as an economy advisor?

There are few things I want to achieve and just do not want to mess that up by doing something too drastic initially.

Hello everyone,


The game has started and send out the 2nd turn last night back to Hartwig.

I have gladly accepted Dave's offer to give principle review of the situation and have made the following changes based upon those suggestions.

* Halted CV Shinano and some of the RO submarines that were coming up soon.
* Expanded the vehicle production. We seem to have big deficit here.
* The engine production was tweaked. Thus Hitachi amakaze production changed. I will expand HA-31, HA-32, HA-34 and HA-35 productions.
* Nakajima kotobuki changed to produce HA-35 engines.
* Halted GM Nell and Jake production.

I'am not an expert to give you guys better analysis of the situation. It is challenging though since bulk of the merchant fleet is on home islands.

There are ships now enroute to our resource centers but it will take sometime to get that going smoothly.

I can post screens from Tracker if you are intrested to see any particular area.

Also I think Dave can make better comments on this area as well.

As for how this AAR will be updated. I think an retrospect style might be an good change.

Thus I have decieded to post monthly recap / review of things that has happened around the pacific.
