How to refuel in space

How to refuel in space

Hi,

How do you manage to refuel in space from a ship to another? I only manage to refuel from a supply ship, and if it is deployed, which is rather cumbersome and I dare say, unrealistic.

I want to use ships as tankers to refuel 'in flight' my task force. How can I do that?


How it comes also that you can't refuel from any space station that has spare fuel? The ship registers the order to refuel, dock, and then asap, cancel its action... I really don't know why codeforce decided that you could not suck up a bit of a space station fuel reserve and put it into the tanks of another ship... This is annoying and unneeded constraint to me.

That said, the game is really good, even if the AI are very timid...

Well, RS are for this and you can do it even when they're moving...they don't need to be deployed to refuel. Just order the ship to dock with the RS
...Igniting stellar cores....Recharging reactors...Recalibrating hyperdrives....
