Is it easier to hit larger groups of men?

When Im shooting at large groups say >8,
it seems that getting kills is much more common.
Are there any rules about certain weapons hitting differently sized groups of men or what...
This is just something I´ve been thinking about recently, I´m curios!

Yes , the more men in a unit, the more likely it is to kill.

I've noticed a real tendancy towards great dificulty hitting small numbers of people. Crews, AT teams, scout teams, snipers, are all REALLY hard to hit.
