Morning tithe...

Yes the B7A2 aircraft code name 'Grace' was a torpedo bomber, hence the designation B instead of A. But it was also able to perform as a Dive bomber, and for some reason the Dev's have picked that ability only.

The Barracuda is also a DB, but torpedo-armed. Works fine either way.

Think of it more like putting a literary boot up their arse, as the B7A2 was a good multi-role aircraft, just as good if not better than anything the Allies had.

You Axis fanboy! [:D] This is not what I need to be hearing 5 days into a PBEM campaign as the Allies y'know. So he gets a decent torpedo/divebomber and I get the Barracuda...[8|]

I'm going to make myself a mod where the Brits get SHARS, TSR2 and Vulcans and the ships are armed with Seacat, Seawolf and Tigerfish torps [:D]

Will you also be making a mod whereby the Brits get some good frontline aircraft too? [:'(]

What about the Typhoon 2020, as you will need something that has a chance against the A6M2.

Seems like maybe a necessary move by the devs to make its multi-role work in the game. A TB will never dive bomb, but perhaps a DB with a torp will make a torp run.....the weapon controls the mode. Nice!

Hi all,

Spurs v Hearts, might be an interesting game.

Yep!

Malmo - former European Cup finalists and conquerors of Rangers - could have been kinder to Zagreb.

Spurs vs Heart of Midlothian - should be a Tottenham walkover but.............a British derby........not so sure. Fingers crossed.

Malmo is the "best" (on paper at least - according to UEFA tables and coefficients) choice...

They were in finals of European Cup but that was long time ago (Dinamo Zagreb was winner of pre European Cup competition in 1967 for example and that means nothing right now)...

As for Glasgow Rangers... well... they eliminated themselves (I watched the subtract from those two games - Malmo was extremely lucky - let's hope that was their "1 in 100 years luck")...

Nothing perhaps about it, and it's always been thus. Patrol planes use torpedos too.

Certainly better than the Barracuda, but that's not saying very much.

Hi all,
ORIGINAL: USS America

Lazy morning while we wait for our new room to be ready for us.  We added my niece to the trip at the very last minute and tried to upgrade to a larger room when we arrived, but they didn't have one available until today.  Coffee on the patio in the breezes.  [8D]

Where is the rum? [8D]

Leo "Apollo11"

The rum is in me now. LOL 3 big rum punches before/with dinner, and now a big rum and coke to sip by the poolside. [8D]

Channelling El Cid:

I find it more historical if on Tuesdays........except during Leap Year.....that the B7A2 should revert to Thai control since there were many Thai restaurants involved in feeding the Japanese designers. I have come up with a clever way to change the GIF format of these planes on the aircraft screen of WitP/AE to show Thai national colors on the plane.....but only for a day......unless its raining in which case it reverts to a subtle pink hue and says "Boo" in the nationality section.
