Overall Economy

Very happy with our we are stripping resources back to Japan, huge stockpiles building up. Oil is being shipped back nicely too. Our fuel is mosting being shipped to the SWPAC (330k in Rabaul, 150k in Truk) and the DEI to support operations. We are starting to cut over more of the tankers to move fuel to Japan.

Palembang Port throughput is still the biggest constraint.

140k in Supplies, with a third at Rangoon, a third at Mandalay and the rest on the other bases.

70k in fuel. Fuel is being pulled out by xAK's after they drop off troops/supplies.
18k in resources. These are being stripped by a dedicated convoy a week.
4k in oil. We are now well on top of supply, this is shipped to Singapore in a 3 ship 7950k convoy.

Supply is adequete and slowly building as resource convoys bring more back, which is being distributed out to Timor, Ambon and Merauke.

Oulying bases, Umboi Island, Finschaven, Tulagi, Guadalcanal all have good supply stocks.

CENTPAC
Pomope, Kusaie Island and Tarawa are the keys. Supply in this area is down a bit and more is being bought in. Resources from Naru being sucked backnicely to Truk.

I would steadily expand your late war engines to size 20 to 30 factories as they will quickly fully repair and start adding points towards the magical 100 developmental points to enable them to move forward a month or more.

That is basically what we are doing 2 TF transferring fuel, 2 oil to Singapore, also pulling out resources. Pulling out supplies from Oosthaven to Batavia and to Burma... stopped for the moment as we were pulling too much. Didn't think of fuel/oil from Oosthaven though...

Yep, thats how we have 340k at Rabaul, with another 200k on the water (100k in AO's, their last run, 100k in TKs). We are expecting fleet actions in the SWPAC in the next month or so. We are very happy with our fuel stockpiles.

I started to to that, but we are sucking so much from Singapore at the moment, and the route to Manila is a bit "Subbie" so we need a bit more and it is currently lower risk.

04 Aug 1942 Mass battles in Burma

Indicators and Warnings
B24 make an apperance over Port Moresby, along with 50 odd B-17. Continued signs the main effort is likely to be in that area. Still unsure of the direction of the thrust.

Subs
We have hunted out most of the subs around the Hoe Islands, there are a number around the SE tip of PNG near Milne Bay, and around Rabaul.

Burma
This turn they hit Magwe. We suspect overall losses are about 1:1, with 12 of our aircraft lost on the ground. Many of the bombers turn back as we manage to do some intercepting.

We are making a max effort next turn, our BBTF will hit Chittagong, I'm hoping he won't expect it as I've had them positioned for a daya, and in previous runs have deliberately not come back quickly... we are also going to raid somewhere else with our 70+ Bombers...

P-38 continue to fair not that well vs single engined aircraft, and Candian Hurricanes? make an appearance...

Exploiting our successe from last turn.



We are really suffering in the air over Burma, we lost almost 50 aircraft, but only 12 pilots... looking forward to Tojo production which will probably be double that of Oscar within a month.

But they are suffering as well, at east flying over our territory we aren't loosing many pilots, and as their is no ground assault it doesn't really matter.

In the Home Islands supply is constraining how fast we are repairing aircraft and engines. We have stacks of resources, good supplies of oil now coming in and decent stocks of fuel.

Indicators and Warnings
CV's are detectedin TF at Sydney, the composition indicates the group that we pick up off NZ a few days ago... in addition over 140 ships and hundreds (3-400) of aircraft are detected... we think something is up

Brisbane has a group of xAP's in Port and around 200 aircraft.

The focus on Merauke is interesting, but inconclusive. Just points to a main effort in this area, but we are still unsure if they will head to Darwin (worst case for us) or towards Rabaul (best prepared).

Few sub attacks, most of ours are in ISR rather than hunting mode... theirs have generally retreated back outside of our effective air range... this looks like a sub transiting to/from Perth... which we would like to "touch up".

Basically nothing! The enemy are a bit demoralised over China, it will be a real scramble for them. It looks like they have moved up more transports to try and get supply into China, we will start hunting airfields to see where they are flying the supply into.

At Sydney large numbers of ships and aircraft continue to be tracked, including a number of CVs.

An attack on Sydney is very tempting... but ultimately would be suicidal... maybe the another midget sub attempt?

On the other hand our bases are building well, all are now level 4 forts and airfields are climbing. More engineers an air support is arriving from Manchuria and where ever else we can find them. Here is the situation in China, they are now pushing forward in the North, we have 1800AV behind 5.6 forts at Nanyang, but a you can see we have some isolated flank units which they look keen to molest. Our forces will secure Ichang, then head back this way.

Economy
Key points from the economy. We only have 60days of data due to a problem with tracker and the patch.

Our key problem is supply in the home islands. This is slowing the repair of aircraft and engines. Soon though that will stop as our change over program is finished.

We now have about 6 months of supply of Oil, which is good.

We only have 40 days of fuel though!

Resources are clibing nicely.

Heavy Industry points are stalled. We may have too many Naval pilots, and also too many armament factories producing.


We have focussed on getting fuel into the Pacific, and then oil to the HI. Now we have to turn the tankers on to moving fuel to the HI. Our gathering to central hubs (Singapore, Sorebaya, Kendari) is going well with large efficient convoys carrying stuff home.

Recent conquests in China has provided a massive increase in resources; we need some more convoys to carry all the booty home!
