how do i open UV in its own window?

There's a command line option, but its got problems, as the map (on my machine at least) experiences massive corruption when running at a resolution other than 800x600 or 1024x768 (whatever you have selected).

It looks to me like an option so the programmers can work with it -- not something that works well for end users.

i have tried -w but it still only allows me to alt tab...i had thought there was a way for UV to open in a new winder i can leave up
