Abandon player

Post by Amadeus »

[&:]I play multiplayer games since I bought this game last week. Most games are doing fine without problems. I started a new game by “Issue a challenge” (paired game) and I was happy that someone accepts my offer. But that was it. After playing one turn I didn’t hear about my opponent.

Is there a way to contact him or her? And what if the other side don’t wanna play on?

No solution or option to contact a player? 10 days without a message or turn that have to be made.

This should be changed. Either delete a game automatically or at least give the player the option to send a email.

At the moment there is no way to contact them. The game will become claimable as a win for you if untouched for 30 days. Otherwise it will just sit there but doesnt do any damage.

30 days is OK for me, Thank you.[&o]

Is it possible to watch wins and defeats in the result screen or somewhere else[X(]? I see only scenario and opponent.

I have avoided PBM since I am VERY familiar with the..."Hmmm, Doesn't look good, I'll just quit playing" response. Some sort of rating system would be great. Not who's doing well, but who actually sticks around to FINISH the game.
i.e. "Greykemp - 6 starts 4 finishes 2 ongoing. or "Hartman - 6 starts 0 finishes 2 ongoing". Then I won't waste days playing someone who's going to quit if it looks bad. I've always felt the guy deserves to win if he's beating me...even if I look like a fool :) "Greykemp - 6 starts 4 finishes 2 ongoing 0 wins 4 losses."

Yes that is what I mean. Don't wasting time with players who will retreat when it is going to be close.
