Here's my moves in the Veli Luki area.

I decided to move the armaments production out of Odessa while I still could. Just in case.

I thought this might be a good time to evacuate everything out of Gomel.

There's a whole boat-load of stuff in Moscow to move so I thought I'd use the remaining rail cap. to move the P-2R production out of Moscow while I still can.

I've started a major pull-back in the Kiev area. I intend to eventually have all that stuff in the west edge along the river that runs alongside Kiev. I hope I get to the river before Elmer does.

There were 90 Axis battles:  6 "observed", 2 "interdict", 27 "retreated", 24 "routed", 11 "shattered", 1 "held", and 19 "airfield bombed" results.

When I got the turn back from the AI I focused in on this spot on the map. This is the worst of the results I think. I count at least 7 tank
units in this group of Axis units and I'm thinking Elmer is thinking to start another pocket right here. And even if there is no incipient
pocket those 7 tank units spell major trouble for the Soviets.

Unfortunately, one of my Air Commanders was spreading rhumors of defeatism. He had to be made an example of so defeatism wouldn't spread. You have to nip these things in the bud.

One of my Heavy Industry locations didn't have enough resources. I haven't yet figured out what I'm supposed to do about that to fix it. Maybe it's covered in the manual somewhere but I haven't found it yet.

The highest scoring air-to-air killers were all changed from I-153's or I-16's to Mig-3's so they can score even higher faster. I changed about a dozen of them. You can tell which ones they are by the 100% travel in the far right column.

Here's a listing of my Army HQ's. I see there's a combat unit attachment problemo for the Southern and Southwestern Front HQ's that I need to give some attention to.

Yes, that one.  You'll be short of resources for one factory all the way through, or at least most of the time.
