Campaign beginning in 1944

Post by Jacko »

Just a thought. I'm mainly interested in the fighting in 1944 and 1945 lately. Would it be possible to start a campaign for let's say the 1st German Infantry division in that year, without having to play earlier battles? Can it easily be adjusted perhaps?

It is doable. I made myslef a random campaign with 5 battles for one month in 44. It is not polished with texts briefings etc. Aux units did not appear, otherwise it worked.

Sounds good. How did you do it, Sztartur? Does it take a lot of work?

It does. But It's doable by editing XMLs.

Have you read the Random Generator document?

You could learn how to edit xmls and practice a bit by modding existing xmls (be sure to back up the stock ones). Then create one from scratch. I use Notepad++ freeware.
