Jeandelaincourt France Map

Post by sweeteye »

While searching the internet for WW2 maps I came across a map that might have promise for some good scenarios. The map is a 16 by 16 kilometer area between Metz and Nancy, centered upon the town of Jeandelaincourt and was an area of operations at the beginning of October 1944.

Looks good, are you planning on working up a scenario too?

Yes, most certainly will start on a scenario. I believe I will base it off of the positions shown on the overlay map. I will try to make a semi historical scenario.

Thanks Arjuna,I really wanted to do a better job than the Omaha beach map.Going to have to remake Omaha Beach using an overlay map. The Jeandelaincourt map seems a bit barren looking to me. Seems to need some broken ground and orchards etc. I did not put any on the map because I have no references from 1944 to go by. I really like the map maker...very easy to create maps with.
