German Unit,s under Soviet command

I have a board game that has German Div,s
that were under Soviet command.

I know the Soviets took a lot of POW,s
Would they have had German weapons or Soviet
for a OOB. or a mix.?

Could be captured weapons just like you can use captured tanks and other weapons in SPWaW. Tanks, panzerfausts, etc.
