[/img]Not sure how you guys feel about this map, but i like it. It would take awhile to complete the whole sets for the Pacific.

This comment is not on your art work, per se. It is very pretty and, I'm sure, more realistic.ORIGINAL: RisingSun
I wasnt happy playing the game while looking at the plain ocean and wanted something more realistic views.

But the light and dark blue ocean colors are there to define deep and shallow water hexes for all sorts of stuff in the game; minefield degradation, sub detection, asw stuff, you name it. Having slight shading differences, going out 2 or 3 hexes from shore, will confuse heck out of a player who is looking for a deep water hex to hide a sub in, or shallow water hex to sow a minefield in.
Hope you will take this into account.

I do like it, just hope you will take game constraints into account. And it's not just as simple as being close to shore. Just think about it. That's all.ORIGINAL: RisingSun
Well if its close to shore, then it will be shallow water areas. By looking at the color patterns i made can tell the different, dont worry you will be able to til the different when i done with it. Dont have to use it if you dont like it.
