jeff and schanilec, if you're ever in cali, let me know...i can show you some real golf courses...[;)]...

golf's in my weekend also...love the game, hate the 8AM shotgun start....ugh!!! [>:]

There is the 'The Bernard Kresel Memorial Golf Tournement' tomorrow. My buddies dad who passed away on the 4th of July. Korea. Past VFW commander. However my shoulder just isn't up to 9 holes let alone 18 hole with American and Canadian veteren's. Especially the Canadian's. Those guys can really pound the spirits. Great bunch of guys.

Love to get out west and hit the links. Another buddies folks winter at Lake Havasu. Arizonea is the 53rd county. From here hop an Aleigant (sic) flight, sometimes $180.00 or lower to Vegas; rent a car in Henderson and we're off to Havasu. You can always pick out the NoDaks. 65F. and we are in short sleeves and shorts. From -30F. to 85F. is pretty freakin' hot for us. Here sometimes just going outside can be up to 120 degree difference add wind and it an be 170 degrees. Porches are decompression chambers.[;)]
This is one Czech that doesn't bounce.

Hi Mike,

Know you are pretty far from the coast, but stay safe, pal. Just remember the old sailor's 1, 2, 3 rule. You never know.

Ciao. John

Thanks, John! We're in good shape. Should see about 2 inches of rain and maybe some 30mph winds at times, but that's it. I guess we'll bring in the patio chair cushions. [:D]

Early Morning tithe... You and your family be safe there Mike, and we down here will be thinking of you East-coasters in the hours to come.

Sometimes I wish that I could be a religious believer, and be able to say that I'm praying for someone. But then maybe just ordinary old care and concern are good enough from an old Atheist like me.

P.S. Don't forget the Rum Mike.

If the power should go out (or if the power stays on) I have plenty of rum on hand.

Don't need to be a believer, Des. Ordinary old care and concern are sure good enough. Just being righteous is all that's required. Heck, I'll probably see your skinny old athiest butt on the steps right in front of the gates. Prayer is just shorthand for "thinking of you, wishing you well, my mind and heart are focused your way, I'll be there if you need something." No worries, Mate. You can actually be an old Athiest and pray for Mike without hypocrisy. God, I love being a Jesuit.

Ciao, and respects, John

Lots of rain and work today.  Good times all round!

Managed to avoid an office job over the weekend through my ability to be the only engine based techie in this shift! [8D]  That's shown all those mincers who reckon airframes was the way to go at the AFCO [:D]

at least you're not fat, dumb and happy...although sometimes that sounds more appealing...hang in there (think picture of cute kitten hanging by his forepaws)
