How do retreats work ?

Post by tmoj2000 »

It seems my units, when forced to retreat, do so in the most inconvenient place (e.g. next to an ennemy unit).

Unless of course they have a chance to get killed if they do not retreat in which case they usually prefer to stay put and get killed

But seriously, what is the logic behind the retreats, how does a unit choose where to retreat ?

This might help.

When a unit is fully suppressed it will retreat unless in a city.
