Video footage before each scenario

One of the thigns I liked in PG was the actual footage of infantry, tanks etc from the period just ebfore a scenario started. Gives an immersion feel. i was wundering if that could be incorporated as well in a future update? Something like below except way shorter.5-10 secs like the original pg.:

One of the problems using such footage is the cost. You can't just pick it off youtube [:)] Getting the copyright to distribute footage with a game is often a cost better invested elsewhere.

Footage shot by German soldiers and contained in German state libraries require copyright fees? There has to be war footage in the public domain. I'm sure enterprising web afficianodos will find you some.

There is also a quality and style issue. The intro movie is very stylized and any in game footage would need to match that rather than just dropping in some documentary footage which reallys gets expensive. Otherwise you compromise the quality of teh whoel package. I think its unlikely we'll have movies for scenario.

Some 3d produced videos are fine - with briefings missions - I can do that in some hours for every file - no costs - no copy rights - no limits - and I have Rommel and Guderian himself in 3d !

We don'r need the old Wehrmacht clips - we can do all new in 3d.

BUT !!!! We need an video file feature for every Scenario, for triggers in scenarios and more.
