Update for speed/ fps?

I haven't seen or read anything about this issue, so I will ask. [:'(]

Has there been any work to speedup the time used to calculate between phases or the bring
up the fps?

As Erik has posted before, there won't be any major work on this game.

Just to clarify, we don't expect any major work on performance for this release. Using the configuration screen and in-game settings to optimize performance to your system is the recommended solution for slow performance.
