Modding outside WW II

Post by CSO_Talorgan »

Has this game been used as a basis for pre-WW II mods?

If not, then would it be theoretically possible to create such mods?

How far back in time would the engine allow you to go?

Yes it can be modded. That requires talent.

To me the game is best with armour as the focus and combined arms secondary. That would limit you to WWI and Spanish Civil War (or any other with tanks).

The game is hardcoded for German and Soviet sides in the GUI. If you don't mind that, I have a flag and icon mod for SCW. No one has made uniforms for the 3D models so you would have to use existing troops.

Once the infantry combat model is refined it should respond to many different time periods.

Thank you for your replies.

The GUI's definitely not moddable?
