regular AI cheats?

Just to understand if I am getting old and stupid, does the regular AI have production advantagies or not? Pleae make it a yes ...

Sorry I meant to say "yes". [:D] Yes the AI has definite production adavantages, you can check that out by looking at the "Raw" and "Oil" tabs in the production screen. No matter how many oil wells you have the AI will outproduce you ten times or so. It can place factories and airfields without the need of engineers, they suddenly appear on the map. I don't know if the AI factories outproduce your factories though.
I haven't played the scenario you're describing but I've heard it's pretty tough.

This scenario (FrenchArab) is not easy (even against the normal AI).
A human player has few resources and infantry's role is reduced by terrain.
It's important to quickly upgrade the mines and oil wells.
Take advantage of the fact that stocks have a supply for a few turns.
Use PP to buy technology (Rifle/Cavalry II, maybe Divebombers because the AI ​​will use tanks and artillery).
Do not leave the coastal cities without protection (the AI can make landing).
