All sorts of info on there, Igards Archer Mod is even on there. No mention of Ale or cargo holds though [:D]

Good find, Darkspire, another great one is the spacesimcentral.com where I lurk from time to time and I think Ed speaks for DW...all hail the great son'a for that.
Don't let the name throw you off, though, that site covers every space game genre....and it's hosted by Darkone, a relative maybe? [:)]
...Igniting stellar cores....Recharging reactors...Recalibrating hyperdrives....

Never judge a book by it's cover, didn't even think of little bipeds with space suits on, honest [:D] Theres lots of bits on there, i do like the Star Trek stuff.

Really like the fan made films, some of them are better than the multi million budget films, like this one ive been following for quite a while:

Judge Minty

Judge Dredd IMHO is one of the best characters ive seen in comics, beats most of the DC / Marvel heroes, ive followed his progress since '77 when he first appeared, his image and character is based on Clint Eastwood (Dirty Harry era), in fact most of the early 2000ad characters were based on movie / TV stars, 2000ad was, not sure still is, one of the best written comics ever (and ive read a few [;)] )

I loved that game...
It is a little old by gaming standards, but that was a lot of fun...
I like the game this photo was taken from even more... Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight, but it is a REALLY old game.

Nah... they are just making sure no one is sneaking Romulan Ale in the 'truce'...

Speaking of Truce, who decided on that anyway? [:'(]

I must admit that it was me TJ....
But just imagine, the beta test team with Igard, the Romulan who created the only
Bird of Prey that can traverse the Briar Patch Nebula and remain fully cloaked. Woodman, the
Narn whose mysterious Shipyards can built designs that the Centauri can't defeat. And
myself, who can cross the neutral zone without being detected (AND blame Data for it)!

We cannot excel at our crafts while either imbibing Romulan Ale or redistributing it from
one cargo bay to another. Thus the request for a short truce until Legends is at or near
its release. Yep....my fault! [8D]

Similar to:

Haegemonia Gold Edition

The expansion is in that as well, took me years to find the expansion, it allows multiplayer and a really good skirmish mode amongst other improvments, thats the game, expack and some cool bonus bits for £6.44!

I played Hegemonia a long time ago. One of the things I didn't like about it was the unit caps...I thought that was too restrictive. The graphics, weapons, and explosions were pretty awesome though! Did the expansion address the unit restrictions?

Never had a problem with the cap you mention, i think you could alter a .ini or a text file.
The expansion is great, multiplayer is a real slugfest [:D] had many a happy night over a LAN with it.

Well being an honest Jedi and all, I can live honorably by this...
But it is more fun to pilfer it once in a while to keep Data and IGard on their toes...

Thanks for this link Darkspire. MOOII for 2.99 can't pass that up!

Wouldn't it be the cat's meow if MOOII could be given an overhaul to match todays computing power. A nice 1400 star size galaxy, better graphics even if it is 2D. Don't mess with anything else. Well maybe some more variety of planet sizes and types, maybe a few more races and thats it. Ok of course there needs to be the ability to mod, but that's it. No other changes.

Ah memories!

Hi Tnarg,

At first i thought your name was Tharg, was going to say Splundig von thrig [:D]

Yes MooII is one of the best 4x, keep hoping that one day that it will be reinvented.

As for Mods for Moo thought you might like to look here:

MOOII Workshop

Russian but the site is in English, and the fourm post for the Workshop:

MOOII Workshop Fourm Post

As for it being reinvented, try this:

Freeorion

Its an open source project and they do seem to be on the ball as it were, roadmaps for the project and well structured. The project has recently had another update to the code.

Have fun
