Hi all,
ORIGINAL: Dixie
ORIGINAL: Chickenboy
ORIGINAL: Dixie

Reference the main WitP forum, why Leo?  Just why...  You should know better than to tell people to disregard a thread [:'(]  If you wanted it to be ignored then you should have renamed it "Why the F4U-4 should have better stats than the Corsair IV" or "Why the devs are wrong about everything"  [;)]

No way. That last bit would have brought the usual blowhards and know-it-alls out of the woodwork. Now, maybe if you asked for all responses to be in iambic pentameter....

Yes, but we'd have ignored them.

I already see that disregarding of my erroneousness thread in the main WitP-AE forum will last for some time... ahhh... [8D]

HURRAY! 'Burma: the Longest War' arrived.[:)] I was thinking back to a couple of books I had ordered that took 14 months to arrive.
But first finish S.E. Morison USNO in WWII. Halfway through Vol. IX.
This is one Czech that doesn't bounce.

Per, are you back in Sweden?

Yes, came home one week ago.

Nice!

Impressions? Some pics to share perhaps? [:D]

No pics. I've managed to scratch the camera lens on my mobile so badly that the pictures just don't get good. Hence, I didn't take many pictures.

Otherwise, the Soggy Isles are the Soggy Isles.

Rain, fog, good beer, fog, nice people, some more rain, driving on the wrong side of the roads, fog, dry understated humor ... and the some rain.

Overall, I liked it [:D]

ETA: Ah yes ... another observation. My pet theory that the Vikings brought all the good looking women back to Scandinavia got stronger. Not many good looking women left on the island [;)][:D]

But the Vikings stayed in England... there was "Danelaw" and the Vikings there merged with older (Saxon) population... [;)]

Yup. But the real reason they stayed was because they were hoping for some new good looking women to grow up, so they could take them back home.

Never happened. [:'(][;)]

Good-morning tithe... Raining again, but in a good way, or is it that I'm just in a good mood. [;)]

My PBEM opponent and I lost a turn in transit, hope Google aren't getting overloaded and dumping E-mails. [:@]

Yep; to Eastern Shore of Mobile Bay. Brought my bike home this morning. Was such a beautiful day and I was so stoked, I put 48 miles on it going over all the back roads in Baldwin county. Stopped at the Old 27 Grill for some 'wings' at the bar. Got many a glance from some stone cuties. Quality of feminine pulchritude here is exquisite. Think some transported Irish convicts from Georgia and some migratory Acadians from Louisiana got together in Mobile. They definitely float my boat. Their parents, however, are another matter. [;)]

Pics of the bike coming soon.
