TF Must unload here?

Post by BigJoe417 »

I keep seeing this message. What does it mean? Why are enemy ships being forced to unload?

Also, if I sink an enemy AP while its attempting to unload troops do any of their troops make it to shore?

thanks

Thanks but I'm not sure that thread answers my question.
It sounds like TF must unload just means the TF leader retired due to presence of my air or surface forces. But Must Unload sounds like they were forced to unload their cargo early somewhere and not just retire.

Hi, When you are playing the AI and you see "must unload" it means AI tried to disband TF but could not because some of the ships were still loaded (the same message you get if you try to disband a loaded TF)

I'm not retreating, I'm attacking in a different direction!

Ohh thanks. So can I assume that those ships are then unloading while burning and still vunerable to my attack?

What about my question regarding sunk transports during an invasion and if the troops onboard make it too shore or drown?

If you don't get a message indicating that other ships in the TF are rescuing them, they're fish food.
Put my faith in the people
And the people let me down.
So, I turned the other way,
And I carry on anyhow.
