HTTR

Command Ops: Battles From The Bulge takes the highly acclaimed Airborne Assault engine back to the West Front for the crucial engagements during the Ardennes Offensive. Test your command skills in the fiery crucible of Airborne Assault’s “pausable continuous time” uber-realistic game engine. It's up to you to develop the strategy, issue the orders, set the pace, and try to win the laurels of victory in the cold, shadowy Ardennes.
Command Ops: Highway to the Reich brings us to the setting of one of the most epic and controversial battles of World War II: Operation Market-Garden, covering every major engagement along Hell’s Highway, from the surprise capture of Joe’s Bridge by the Irish Guards a week before the offensive to the final battles on “The Island” south of Arnhem.

HTTR

I keep seeing brief references to a HTTR pack or HTTR upgrade but no real comprehensive info or description

Could anyone please briefly explain exactly what sort of product and with what sort of content is in the pipeline and is it part of the upcoming patch or a separate project.
Many thanks

This is probably the Battles from the Bulge update which is supposed to include the Highway to the Reich scenarios...

The HTTR expansion Pack is a set of 13 scenarios covering the Market Garden Campaign in Holland September 17-26 1944. It will be released completely seperate from and following the upcoming free Patch #2, although you will need to have installed Patch #2 to play the expansion scenarios. The Expansion scenarios will not be free, but the price is as yet undetermined.

The project was started over 4 years ago with the conversion of the HTTR maps for mixed-mode movement. Many parts of the maps had to be re-worked since minor and major river terrain had wiped out mechanized road movement wherever the roads were drawn too close to the river (like almost everywhere) and many new crossings were added where these roads crossed the rivers. Numerous other historical accuracy checks and revisions were made, most notably in the cities of Arnhem and Eindhoven.

Then the OOB's had to be reconstructed with the new BFTB estabs, unit by unit. Both the German and the British OOB's have been extensively reworked for historical accuracy, based on new information, some of which has become available since HTTR was release. The UK estabs also got a major overhaul.

Currently the scenarios are been tested by the official Panther beta testing team. An official announcement and scenario list, and possibly an AAR will be made some time after the patch is released.[:)]
