Hey...that is a good point. Think of all the time I saved by not reading the manual. I feel better now.


I took Mandrake Jr to El Pollo loco yesterday and we were ordering when I noted what looked for all the world like a chicken feather right on the counter. It was a short white feather that looked like a ...well...a chicken feather.

"Hey look!", I said, 'one tried to get away".

We both had the image of a bug-eyed chicken hopping and flapping onto the counter while chased by a Mexican with a meat cleaver. We had to step out of line we were laughing so hard. Then the guy behind us saw it and we made the international chicken sign <thumbs in armpirts, flapping elbows> so he started laughing ...and then the guy behind him started laughing. The poor cashier is short (everybody is short at el Pollo Loco) so she cant see the feather on the customer side of the cash register. I am pretty sure she just thought "******* crazy anglos".

That was the most fun I ever had a Pollo Loco.

Upon review of the replay, it appears Yamato and friends are camping out at PH. They are perhaps protesting the corporate greed on display there.

USS South Dakota, a CL and 4 DD's are about 120 mi E of Exmouth and can reach PH tonight thought the transports are gone, having bugged out to the East. Probably best if they head back to Geraldton.

Exmouth will be a level 1 airfield in 1-2 d. Carnavon will be level 4 in 2-4 d. The whole are will be less hospitable to JJ ships when we come back.

Weather has cleared a bit over PH so the bombers shoudl be able to go in.

A look at the CR and the Allies have an advantage in guns and vehicles. I am thinking this gives CRT shifts for the defense that is not reported ...I have had battles where the IJA had 2-1 AV advantage but I had 3:2 or better guns and tanks and even though the AV was outclassed I got adjusted CRT shifts ...the die roll although was stupendious! 4K LYB's!
