This may be just a bit too much to ask or there is an easier way to do what I am thinking of doing. Being new to PCO, but not to wargames or computer gaming, please understand that what I am about to suggest is just a suggestion, nothing more or less.

Back in 1999 to 2001, I was a playtester for Bethesda Softworks on their drag racing game Burnout and several sequels. One of the coolest aspects of that game was the ability to paint your car in the paintshop. You didn't have to use any outside paint programs and it was pretty cool. I suggested that they include sponsorship decals but that never happened, or maybe it did. I got very upset with them when they basically stole some designs from a fellow gamer of mine. Told them where to stick their game and have never played it or any of their other games since.

Okay, so what has this got to do with PCO. Now I don't know if such a "Paint Shop" could be designed specifically for PCO, and any future titles in the series, but if it could that would be great. To begin with, you have a tank in a solid primer color. Then you can load the available paints for say "1943-44" and any unit/military symbols that were used during the time period selected. After that, just a matter of painting the tank/vehicle/gun....whatever, and add the decals. Of course you could get carried away with all the bells-n-whistles that could be included in such a program, but it sure would be fun.

Do you mean that one that was in one of the old books on German tanks back the 1970s? That was the most puckified looking Panther I've ever seen...........[8|]
